I’m 40 today. Forty. I have a lot of thoughts about this (not especially bad ones, I’m perfectly happy to be getting older, am just still working out what this point in my life means for me), but not for sharing now. Now, I’m heading off to a gorgeous mountain chalet for a week of wine and chocolate and skiing with a handful of my very dearest friends, who love me enough to travel to be with me, and I’m so, so grateful.
